Shacking Up

Last weekend I moved the majority of my stuff into John's house. This weekend we're getting movers to help move the rest of it. It's really nice here, very quiet, and in the evenings kids play in the cul-du-sac. Fee loves it here, and pretty soon her fence will be constructed, but she still seems to prefer getting on the leash and walking up and down the exercise paths that are prominent in Brandermill. It's an advantage for work because most of my clients are in Southside, and it's actually more convienient for me being here than in the West End.

Despite all that, moving really does suck ass.

Sweet Love Triangle

The wind is crazy today, it's knocked one of the hinges off my screen door. Too cold to go outside, as well as I am very tired from being out after 3 this morning on-call. So here we sit, FiFi and I. Am thinking about packing up my knitting supplies...it wouldn't take long, most of it is already organized.

I've been saturated with Edge/Lita/Matt Hardy gossip since the whole thing went public. Although I don't appreciate the fact that Edge basically gave a false impression of himself by making comments in his book like "I'm a loyal man..." I still have to give him props as a damn good wrestler. Chances are, no one will be fired or severely reprimanded/disciplined because of this, since wrestlers are known for volatile relationships (Randy Savage, Kevin Sullivan, Marc Mero, Chyna, etc.) He just now sort of gives me the creeps. Hopefully, this will fade with time. Anyhoo, I'm often reminded of a quote by Dr. Phil in regards to people who date people who cheat: "If they're willing to cheat WITH you, they're probably willing to cheat ON you too."

Sleep deprived. Scrambled brain. More later.

No F#*&ing Way!

Edge, you dumbass
.

Apparently, the WWE management is very angry at Adam Copeland and find this unbecoming conduct for an employee, according to another article. There's a thinly veiled reference to this affair on Matt Hardy's website. In his Matt Facts Section, he has written: "Matt Fact #6: Matt has never betrayed a good friend." As for me, I'm not really sure what to think about this. My friends know how strongly I feel about infidelity, and having been the one betrayed, I can completely sympathize with Matt and his feelings. This really sucks, because I like Edge and don't want to see his career f-cked over because of all of this. I hope things work out for everyone.

Apparently, I have a fan.

I got a letter in the mail today from The Manchester Who's Who, who tells moi that they think I'd make an "interesting biographical candidate" for the 2005-2006 registry. I'm not sure who nominated me, I called Lurraine, and she told me she didn't, but she thought it was wonderful just the same. So, if you're the one, and you're reading this now, thank you.

Yesterday John and I went out to a well-deserved dinner outing at Ruby Tuesday at Willow Lawn, something we haven't done in a while. We also went to Tower and bought DVDs. We got the Bill Hicks Greatest Hits DVD, as well as Sid and Nancy (awesome friggin movie), and the complete seasons of Penn and Teller's Bullshit Season 2 and South Park Season 5. Awesome.
